Grant-in-Aid

20024 Recipients

Graduates: Nicole Szalay (Midlakes), Jaylyn Gramz (Bloomfield), and Graceann Pastore (Penn Yan/not pictured) were awarded a $1000 scholarship each for their pursuits of educational careers.

Teachers: Amber Hampton (Penn Yan), Taryn Windeim (Midlakes), Nayely Ortiz (Penn Yan) and Anna Halpa (Naples) were awarded a $500 scholarship each to support their classroom activities.

Alpha Tau is proud to help these women begin or continue their dedication to education. We encourage educators to reach out to members in their districts to find out how we can support them as well.

Congratulations!

This grant is open to all schools within our chapter. Any graduating senior who plans on pursuing a career in education is eligible for this. It is also open to any working educator who would like to supplement their classroom funds or who may currently be enrolled in graduate school.

Applications due May 1, 2025

Purpose

Delta Kappa Gamma promotes professional and personal growth of its members and excellence in education. The Alpha Tau Chapter of DKG is made up of women educators from nine school districts in Ontario and Yates Counties. Each year, on a rotating basis, we give monetary awards to promising young women from our home districts who have chosen to pursue a degree in education or to young teachers within those districts who are pursuing further education.
