2026 Recipients
Graduates:
Jaicye Dedee from Naples will be attending Grand Canyon University in the fall.
Maddison Breuer from Penn Yan will be attending St. Bonaventure in the fall.
Lia Bush from Penn Yan will be attending SUNY Cortland in the fall.
Rachel Dann will be attending SUNY Geneseo in the fall.
Teachers:
Clarissa Hensler (Honeoye Falls) will use her grant so support a collaborative FACS project that pairs creative drawings and sewing.
Alyssa Boyea (Honeoye Falls) will use her grant in a self-contained English/ Science class that will support reading in the sciences.
Jordan Smith (Naples) will use her grant in a student program that not only gives her students experiences interacting with others, but also supports her fellow teachers with a "Teacher Boost Cart."
Alpha Tau is proud to help these women begin or continue their dedication to education. We encourage educators to reach out to members in their districts to find out how we can support them as well.

This grant is open to all schools within our chapter. Any graduating senior who plans on pursuing a career in education is eligible for this. It is also open to any working educator who would like to supplement their classroom funds for projects or initiatives or who may currently be enrolled in graduate school.
Grants awarded at our June meeting.
Meals for the recipients will be paid for by the chapter.

Purpose
Delta Kappa Gamma promotes professional and personal growth of its members and excellence in education. The Alpha Tau Chapter of DKG is made up of women educators from nine school districts in Ontario and Yates Counties. Each year, on a rotating basis, we give monetary awards to promising young women from our home districts who have chosen to pursue a degree in education or to young teachers within those districts who are pursuing further education.
